Leoni Jones

"Hi! I am Leoni Jones. I am a visual arts student with a major in photography, studying at Luca Genk. My goal in photography is to go beyond taking an aesthetic photo, to explore fashion photography as well as photography in general and reflecting it in modern society issues that I am interested in. Through conceptual photography my aim is to develop my own visual language. Viviane Sassen, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Pierre Debusschere, ... greatly inspire me.

I use both digital and analogue photography as a medium, but like creating elements of the scene to portrait my subjects in.

Besides photography, I am passionate about music, playing the piano and the oboe."
